What is this?
Karmaloop AIML Bot Server is an all-in-one AIML bot server that you can take to production or start experimenting with in less than 60 seconds. It’s open source, free for commercial use and open for your tinkering. It has been built primarily in C# because that is the language I used when I first started writing the AIML parser in 2004. There are several other AIML bot libraries available out there, but nothing is as robust or right-away-usable as this.

Then what is Karmaloop AI?
It is going to be good to understand the difference early on. Because unfortunately, currently there isn’t much different – at this point. Doh! That’s all we have put out yet… But… and a big strong BUT, the next generation bot engine is set to roll out. And yes we will make all other conversational agent frameworks (our glorified term for chat bots) look like they are from the ’90s.
When?
Soon. We don’t have a date yet, it’s important to get it right. We have so much to figure out before it gets let out in the wild…
Till then we have this awesome framework we are growing day by day which gets most of the use cases taken care of anyway. So please go ahead, try it out, and let us know what you built with it!
